My brother and I have been running Kachhawa Brothers for a long time now. We are located right outside Surajpole. This is a very crowded and noisy part of town. There is always a lot of dust and people walking by. We actually like the energy of the market. We sell a bit of everything, mostly stuff that people need for their homes or small projects. It started as a small idea our father had years ago. We just kept it going after he retired. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Everyone knows us by our name in this area. You can usually find one of us sitting at the front while the other is in the back checking the stock. The building is old. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We know almost all the other shopkeepers around here. We often share tea in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't make big promises or use sales talk. We just give people what they ask for at a fair price. Surajpole is a landmark, and being just outside the gate makes it easy for villagers coming into the city to stop by. We open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and stay until the streetlights come on at night.
