Real Music Dance Academy

Real Music Dance Academy is tucked away at 128 University Road. It’s a good location because it’s easy for people to find, but it’s not right in the middle of all the heavy traffic. When you walk in, the first thing you’ll notice is the sound. There is almost always someone practicing a scale on an instrument or footsteps echoing from a dance rehearsal. We have some mirrors on the walls and a few old instruments sitting in the corners. It’s not a high-end studio with fancy soundproofing, but it has a lot of soul. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the shoes, and the walls have posters of old performances taped up. We spend our days teaching and organizing the schedule, which can be a bit of a mess sometimes when people change their minds. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us making sure the classes happen on time and that the students have what they need. Sometimes we have to fix a broken guitar string or sweep up the floor after a big group leaves. The light through the windows on University Road is nice in the afternoons, though it gets a bit hot. We keep a few water coolers around for when the dancers get tired. It’s a simple place where people come to learn. We like the noise and the energy that comes with it. It feels like a real community hub. Even when it is raining outside, we are usually inside practicing.
