You can find our office at Reti Stand in the Central Area, right at number 1. Rakesh Kumar Jain & Co isn't a place with fancy furniture or big signs. It’s mostly just desks covered in papers, old files stacked in the corners, and the sound of a ceiling fan overhead. We spend our hours going through documents and writing things down. The building is older, so it has that specific smell of paper and stone. Being near the Reti Stand means there is a lot of activity outside, but inside we try to keep things quiet so we can concentrate. We don't have a receptionist; usually, one of us just looks up when someone walks through the door. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the tea we order from the stall nearby is the highlight of the afternoon. We have been in this central spot for quite some time, and the routine rarely changes. We start our day by sorting through the mail and end it by making sure the files are put away correctly. It’s not an exciting job, but it’s what we know how to do. The windows don't let in much light, so we rely on the overhead tubes most of the day. It’s just a regular office where we get through the work bit by bit.
