Pacific College Of Gym Training & Management is part of the Pacific University setup in Udaipur. Being out here in Rajasthan, the weather can get pretty hot, but the college stays busy regardless. People come here because they want to learn about the fitness business and how to run a gym properly. It’s not just about lifting weights; there is a lot of paperwork and management stuff that needs to be understood. The classrooms are basic, with tables and chairs where we go over the textbooks. Then there are the practical areas where the actual training happens. It can get a bit sweaty in those rooms, especially in the afternoons. Most of the students are young guys and girls who are really into sports or body building. You see them walking around in their tracksuits most of the time. The campus at Pacific University is quite large, so there is always a lot of walking involved to get from one place to another. We have a schedule to follow, and the instructors are usually quite firm about being on time. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t spend too much time on fancy talk; we just get to the work that needs doing. Sometimes the equipment needs fixing, and we have to wait for the maintenance guys to show up.
