Kamdhenu Traders

Kamdhenu Traders is located at number 49 in Bapu Bazar, right in the Jogiwara area. If you know the market, you know it's always packed with people and scooters zig-zagging everywhere. Our shop is quite small and we have stuff stacked up to the ceiling almost. We sell all kinds of general items and household goods that people need for their daily lives. It can be a bit of a mess sometimes when we get a new shipment in and there’s nowhere to put the boxes. We spend a lot of time moving things around to find what a customer is asking for. It’s not a quiet place at all because the market noise comes right inside. We’ve been here at this spot for a long time and the neighbors are all like family. We see the same faces every morning when the shutters go up. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people when they walk in. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it’s not too hot and watch the crowd go by. We handle a lot of different traders and suppliers throughout the week. It’s a lot of talking and counting and making sure the inventory is okay. It’s just a normal way to earn a living in a busy bazaar. We close up when the market gets quiet at night and do it all again tomorrow.
