Chaturvedi Battery & Electric Works

Our workshop, Chaturvedi Battery & Electric Works, is located in the 168-A Block of Goverdhan Vilas. It’s mostly a place for fixing car batteries and dealing with various electrical parts for vehicles. The floor is usually covered with old battery casings and wires. It’s a bit of a messy job, working with acid and lead, but it’s what we do. We also do some house wiring work if people in the area need it. I started this shop because I’ve always been good with my hands and fixing things. Goverdhan Vilas is a decent neighborhood, and we get a lot of local business. People bring in their dead batteries to see if we can jump-start them or if they need a new one. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a garage-style setup where we do the work. My brother helps me out most days. We are not a big company, just a small local shop. Sometimes we are out on a call fixing someone's inverter at their home. It’s a lot of physical work and you get your hands dirty every single day. We don't do any big marketing. If someone’s car doesn't start, they usually find their way to us eventually. It’s just an honest way to earn a living in our part of town, keeping the lights on and the engines starting.
