Aahwan An Invitation

Our shop is in the Bhagwat Parshwanath Complex, right near Savina Vatika in Udaipur. It is a busy little corner of the city. Aahwan is really just about the invites and getting people together. Udaipur is a place where people take their celebrations seriously, and the invitation is the first step. Our space is filled with samples of paper, different inks, and envelopes stacked up to the ceiling. It can get a bit overwhelming when we have a lot of orders at once. We spend hours looking at fonts and colors. Sometimes the printer acts up or the paper does not arrive on time, which can be stressful. We are not a big factory; it is more of a hands-on process here. We talk to people about what they want, and sometimes they are not even sure themselves. We just show them what we have and go from there. The street outside is always full of people heading to the Vatika. It is a lively atmosphere. We have been at this for a while now, and we have seen all sorts of styles come and go. Our desks are usually covered in scraps of paper and glue. It is a messy job sometimes, but seeing a finished card makes it worth it. We just keep things simple and try to get the work done on time for the big day. That is how we operate in Udaipur Ho.
