Ashoka Traders

Ashoka Traders is based out of 45/2/65, 6th Cross, right in the heart of the APMC Yard in Batawadi. If you’ve ever been to an APMC yard, you know it’s a place that never really sleeps. There’s always trucks coming in, people unloading crates, and a lot of shouting back and forth. We’ve been part of this chaos for quite a while. Our spot on the 6th Cross is where we handle all our trading. It’s a dusty, busy place, but it’s where the real work happens. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly just have a desk, some scales, and plenty of space for whatever stock we’re moving that week. We deal with a lot of different people, from farmers to other traders, and everyone is just trying to make a living. It’s a tough environment, but we like the energy of it. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we just carry on. We don’t have a big corporate story to tell. We started small and we’ve stayed at a size we can manage ourselves. We focus on getting the goods in and out as quickly as we can. It’s practical, everyday trading. We don’t use big words to describe it. We just show up at the yard and get to work. It’s what we know, and we do it every day without much complaint.
