Vidhyalaya College Of Education is situated out on Thindivanam Road. We are specifically in Sirunathur Village, which is part of the Tiruvannamalai area here in Tamil Nadu. The pin code is 604601. It is a bit of a drive out from the main town, so it is usually quiet around the campus. We have students coming in from the surrounding villages who want to become teachers. The building is a decent size with enough rooms for the classes. We don't have those huge glass buildings you see in the cities. It is more of a practical place with cement walls and open windows for the breeze. The grounds are kept clear, though the grass grows fast when it rains. Most of the staff has been here for years. We know the bus schedules by heart because that is how most people get here. In the mornings, you can see groups of students walking from the main road. We have a small office where we keep all the records and files. Sometimes the internet is slow because of the location, but we make do with what we have. It is an honest place to study. We don't try to be anything we are not. Just a college in Sirunathur where people come to learn their trade. There is a lot of routine here, from the first bell to the final sign-out. We are just a part of the local landscape now and we like it that way.
