Out here in Rantham Village, things are pretty peaceful. We are part of the Cheyyar Taluk in Thiruvanamalai. The college isn't right in the middle of a big city, which is actually nice because there is less noise. We have students coming in from all over the district, some by bus and some who stay nearby. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect in a pharmacy school. Tables, some glass bottles, and a lot of books. The building itself is solid and has been around for some time. We spend most of our hours here dealing with schedules and making sure the labs are ready. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the shade of the trees on the grounds is where everyone hangs out during lunch. Being in a place like Thiruvannamalai means we are surrounded by a lot of history and green fields. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a group of people working in education, helping the younger generation figure out their path in the medical field. There is a lot of walking between the different blocks. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out. It is a regular college life here in Rantham. We just keep things moving along each day.
