Amazon International School

Amazon International School sits right on the Moongilthuraipattu Main Road in Meyyur. Being in the Tiruvannamalai area, specifically with the 606753 zip code, means we deal with a lot of dust from the road. The school is a place where you see buses coming and going throughout the morning and afternoon. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the kids who come from the surrounding villages. The classrooms have high ceilings and simple wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have flashy signs or big marketing displays at the front gate. It is just the school name and the daily schedule. The playground gets a lot of sun, so the kids are usually sweaty when they come back inside for lunch. In the office, the files are stacked up, and there’s always someone asking about admissions or fees. We try to keep the gardens green, but the heat in Tiruvannamalai makes it hard sometimes. People in Meyyur know us as that big building on the main road. It’s a practical environment. There isn't anything corporate about how we run things. We just open the gates, ring the bell, and start the day. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the local shortcuts and the best places to get lunch when we haven't brought our own tiffin carriers. It is a busy, normal place for the kids here.
