Dominic Savio Higher Secondary School

Dominic Savio Higher Secondary School is out in Narasinga Rao Colony. We are located in Achamangalam, which is a fairly quiet spot compared to some other places. The school has been part of the landscape here for years. People recognize the name because their neighbors or cousins probably went here at some point. We don't go in for much advertising or anything like that. The building is solid and has plenty of room for the higher secondary classes. In Achamangalam, things move at a bit of a slower pace, which is nice for a school environment. You don’t have all that city noise right on top of you. Our staff members mostly live in Narasinga Rao Colony or just a short walk away. It makes the place feel more like a community than a business. We have the usual stuff you’d expect—blackboards, desks, and a place for the kids to eat their lunch. It’s not a polished private academy type of look. It’s a bit rough around the edges sometimes, with paint that might need a touch-up here and there. But it’s a real school where real work happens every day. We open the gates early and close them once the last student has headed home. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve kept up for a long time now. We don't change much, and that seems to suit the people who live around here just fine.
