Sivanatha Nuresry And Primary School

Our school is located right at 29, SH 5 in Thiruvatoor. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks going past, but inside the gate, it feels a bit different. We mostly handle the very little ones and the primary students here. Cheyyar is where almost all of us are from. Being in the Tiruvannamalai district means we get some really warm days throughout the year. We have a small staff of people and we all know each other very well by now. The building itself is not new. It has some real character and maybe a few cracks in the paint here and there. We don't really mind that much as long as it's safe for the kids. The primary kids are usually much louder than the nursery ones. We spend the whole morning getting them settled into their wooden seats. There is always a massive amount of noise during the lunch breaks. We have a simple routine that we follow every single day without fail. It starts early in the morning when the sun is just coming up. We have to make sure all the rooms are swept and tidy before the first kids arrive at the gate. Sometimes the heavy rain makes things a bit messy on the road just outside. We just deal with it and keep going. It’s a very simple setup we have here at Sivanatha Nursery And Primary School. No one is trying to be fancy or modern. We just want the kids to learn their basic lessons.
