Kinder Kidz

Our little place is located at No 2/69 in Ayyappan Nagar, which is right in the Iyer Bungalow area of Madurai. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels quite safe and tucked away from the main city noise. Kinder Kidz is exactly what it sounds like—a place for the smaller children to spend their morning and early afternoon. The building is more like a house that’s been converted into a school space. We have colorful mats on the floors and shelves full of plastic toys and picture books that have seen better days. You can hear the kids singing or shouting from the street sometimes. It’s never really quiet here until after everyone goes home at one or two in the afternoon. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around, though we have to watch out for the sun. The parents mostly live nearby, so they just drop the kids off on their way to work. It’s a very informal setup. We don't have uniforms that stay clean for long because there’s always some paint or snacks involved. The staff here are just regular people who like working with kids and don't mind the noise. Madurai can get incredibly hot, so we keep the rooms as cool as possible with the fans. It’s a simple, local spot for the neighborhood families to bring their toddlers while they take care of their own daily business.
