No.1918 Hasanpur Primary School

Our school, No.1918 Hasanpur Primary School, is located on Narasimman Nagar Arcad Main Road in Cheyyar. We are right at No 7, which makes us easy to find if you are coming from the main parts of Tiruvannamalai. It’s a primary school, so things are usually quite lively from the moment the doors open. We have kids from all over the local area coming in every morning, some walking and others arriving on bicycles. The building is older, and it has that look of a place where a lot of learning has happened over the years. We don't have a big office or a reception desk; usually, someone is just standing by the entrance to help out. The desks have seen better days, and there’s always a bit of dust because of the road outside, but we keep the floors swept and the blackboards ready. Teachers here live nearby, so they know the families well. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We just focus on the basics like reading, writing, and arithmetic. There’s no big fancy equipment here, just books and a bit of chalk. We spend our days making sure the kids stay focused on their work. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except for lunch breaks when the playground gets a bit noisy. We like it that way because it feels like a real community school in Cheyyar.
