Raaj Extrusions

Raaj Extrusions operates from a small place at 12-E/2 on T.H. Road in the Thangal area of Thiruvottiyur. It’s a busy part of the city, and the traffic outside can be pretty loud throughout the day. We do metal extrusion here. It’s a lot of hard work and the shop floor is usually quite warm. We have a few machines that have been with us for a long time, and we know exactly how to handle them. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any salespeople in suits. Most of the time, the person who answers the phone is the same person who was just working on a machine. We like keeping things simple. When an order comes in, we figure out the best way to do it and then we start. There’s always the smell of oil and metal in the air, which is something you just get used to. Sometimes we have to work late to make sure a shipment goes out on time, but that’s just the way it goes. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just do the work as it comes. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that money on new drill bits or keeping the press maintained. It’s a straightforward business run by regular people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. We just keep our heads down and work.
