Popular Plastics is located at Silverline- 6/1, right on Chakkarai Street in Kondithope. It’s one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful how you park. We have been here for years, and most of the people on the street know us by now. The building is an old one, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with plastic items that people use every day. Our space inside is often cluttered with bags and bins because we try to keep a lot of variety in stock. It’s a bit dusty, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but we get the job done. We don’t have a website or a big marketing team. Most people just walk in or call us because they heard about us from someone else in Kondithope. We like the local vibe of the neighborhood. During the afternoons, it gets pretty hot, so we usually take a slow break before the evening rush. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what our customers need at a fair price without any fuss. Sometimes we run out of things, and we have to wait for the next delivery truck to squeeze through the street. That’s just life at Silverline. We keep it simple and keep our doors open for whoever needs some plastic goods. It’s a plain business run by plain people who have been around the block a few times. We just take things one day at a time.
