We are located at Plot 9-A in the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Ambattur. This part of Chennai is full of factories and workshops, and we fit right in. We work on handling systems like cranes and lifts, so our space is basically a big open warehouse with high ceilings. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and welding work. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the place definitely shows its age. The walls could use a new coat of paint and the fans are a bit squeaky, but it doesn't stop us from getting the work done. Our team is made up of guys who know their way around heavy steel. We don't use any fancy corporate language or have big meetings about goals. We just look at the drawings and start building. Ambattur is a hot place to work, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks in the shade when we can. Most of our customers are other businesses in the industrial estate who know us by word of mouth. We don't bother with brochures or sales pitches. We just show people what we’ve built and let the machines speak for themselves. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of life here. We start when the sun comes up and we leave when the last truck is loaded. It’s just how we operate.
