This is a bit of a funny one because the company name says Mumbai 400051 but we are actually located at 22 Kolurvilage in Ponneri Taluk. That’s in the Thiruvallur district of Tamilnadu, with the zip code 601205. It’s a long way from the big city. The village life is much quieter. We are set up here now, surrounded by more trees than buildings. It’s a different pace of work altogether. Prana Studios is a private limited company, but we don't act like a big corporate office. We have our space in the village where we get our things done. Moving out here was a big change, but it’s worked out okay. The air is better, even if the internet is sometimes a bit slow. We have a small group of people working here. Most of us have been together for years. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you show up, you just walk in and find someone. We spend most of our time on our projects. It’s a dedicated space. People in the village were a bit curious about us at first, but now we’re just another part of the landscape. We don’t try to stand out too much. We just do our work and go home. The Thiruvallur area has its own charm. It’s honest work in a quiet place. That’s really all there is to say about us and why we are here instead of the big city.
