Joy Granites & Marbles

You can find us at Joy Granites & Marbles, located at 174/5 R A Complex in Palaniappa Nagar. We are right on Arcot Road in the Alwarthirunagar area. Being in a complex means there is always something going on around us. We have a mix of granite and marble here, which keeps things interesting because they both require different kinds of care and handling. The space is often cramped because we try to keep a good variety of samples for people to look at. It’s mostly just me and a helper most days. We spend a lot of time moving pieces around so customers can see the patterns properly. It’s hard on the back, but it’s part of the trade. We have been in this spot for a few years now and have gotten to know the other shop owners in the RA Complex pretty well. We don't use any fancy sales talk here. If a piece of stone has a crack or a weird vein, we just point it out. It’s better that way so there are no surprises later. We handle the local deliveries ourselves when we can, or we call in a driver we know if the load is too big for our small truck. It’s a local operation, nothing too corporate or polished about it. We just open up the shop, sweep the front, and start our day like everyone else on Arcot Road.
