Imran Marbles

Our yard is over at Door No 95 on 15th Cross Street in Kolathur. It's a lot of heavy lifting and stone work most days. If you come by, you'll probably see a bit of dust because that's just how it is when you’re dealing with marble and granite all day long. We’ve been at Plot No 14 B for a bit now and the locals know where to find us. It isn't a glamorous job, but we've got the slabs lined up and we spend our time cutting and moving them around. My hands are usually pretty rough by the end of the week. Kolathur is a busy place, and being on 15th Cross means there is always someone passing by or a truck trying to navigate the street. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby, just the office and the space where the stone sits. It gets hot in the afternoons but we keep at it. Most of the time we're just focused on getting the orders ready for whoever needs them next. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes Sunday too if things are backed up. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a place where you can see what you’re getting. The address is easy to find if you know the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know Imran Marbles and what we do. It is a simple business run by people who know stone.
