Clajus Marble & Granite Valasaravakkam is situated on Arcot Road, which is almost always jammed with traffic. Our address is New No 41, though some people still refer to it as Old No 143. We are located in the Indra Nagar part of Valasaravakkam, near Alwarthirunagar. It is a very active neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses all mixed together. We deal with marble and granite, so our place is full of heavy stone slabs that take up a lot of room. Moving these pieces around is not easy, and it takes a lot of care so nothing gets cracked or broken. The sun can get really hot on Arcot Road, and we spend a lot of our time outside or in the open part of the shop. We are not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it is a working yard where things get done. People who live around Valasaravakkam often see us when they are heading to work or running errands. We have a lot of different stones sitting around, and they get dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on the main road. It is a straightforward business where we just show people what we have available. We have been at this Indra Nagar spot for a while now and we are used to the noise and the pace of the street.
