Sri Siddhi Vinayaga Exim

If you’re driving down Dharapuram Road, you’ve probably seen the Lakshana Theater. We are right near there, at number 1/807 in Aishwarya Nagar. Sri Siddhi Vinayaga Exim is basically a few rooms where we handle all the shipping and receiving. It’s a lot of phone calls to drivers and checking on where containers are located. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and coffee mugs everywhere. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the gate. The road outside is always being worked on, so there is usually some construction noise or a bit of dust flying around. We spend a lot of time waiting on emails to come through so we can move to the next task. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. When the weather gets hot, the small fan in the corner doesn't do much, but we just deal with it. We handle things for people who want to send stuff far away or bring things in from other places. It involves a lot of patience with the customs rules and all that. We just try to keep the flow going without too many headaches, which is easier said than done most weeks.
