Ramanathan Agro Exports

Ramanathan Agro Exports is based out of No 2/27 Selvam Appartments in Bavani Nagar. We handle various crops and local goods for sending abroad to different markets. The daily routine usually starts quite early when the first trucks arrive from the farms. We spend most of our mornings checking the quality of what comes in to make sure it is right. The apartment unit is small but it works well enough for all our paperwork and meetings. Sometimes the traffic on the street outside makes things a bit slow when we are trying to load up the crates. We started this business because there was a clear need for local products to get to other places. Most days it is just about getting the boxes ready and making sure all the labels are correct. We sit around the wooden table in the front room and go through the orders one by one. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but a small breeze comes through the window sometimes. People in the building know us for the crates moving in and out of the hallway. It isn't a huge or fancy office, just a practical place where we do our business every day. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors are used to the noise of the deliveries. My brother helps with the logistics while I handle the phone calls and the banks. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
