Anand Exports

Our place is out at No. 9 - 53 in Karun Gali Valasu, which is part of the Dhasappatti Post area near Dharapuram. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the quiet of the countryside. Anand Exports isn't a huge name you see on billboards. It’s just a small setup where we handle various goods for export. The air is a bit dusty because of the dry ground around Dharapuram, and we spend a lot of time sweeping out the storage area. Most of the people working here live in the nearby villages, so we all walk or bike to work. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything like that. We just open the big doors to let the breeze in and get to work. Dealing with farmers means you hear a lot of stories about the rain and the soil, which is more interesting than sitting in a silent office all day. Some days are slow, and we just sit around drinking tea and waiting for a truck to arrive. Other days, everyone is running around trying to meet a deadline. It’s a bit unpredictable, but that is just how the export business goes when you are working with raw goods. We try to keep our overhead low and just focus on the task at hand without overcomplicating things.
