Sv Granites

I'm usually here at the yard in S.M. Kandriga by seven in the morning. Sv Granites is just a spot off the main road at Dr.No.1-74/8. We’ve been here in R.C. Puram for a while now. Most days it’s just us moving slabs around and making sure things are tidy for whoever stops by. It gets pretty dusty, but that’s just part of working with stone every day. People come in looking for something specific for their floors or kitchens. We don’t have fancy brochures or anything like that. You just walk through the rows and see what we have in stock at the moment. Some pieces are darker, some have more lines through them. It depends on what we got in the last delivery. The sun hits the slabs in the afternoon and you can really see the patterns then. My hands are always rough from handling the edges, but I don't mind it much. We know most of the people around here. They stop by, ask a few questions, maybe stay for a bit of tea if it’s not too busy. It’s a quiet life mostly. The truck comes in, we unload it, and then we wait for the next person to need a bit of granite. If you’re passing through the village, you’ll see the sign. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done without making a big fuss about it. We have some scraps in the corner that we let people take for small repairs too.
