Sreenivasa Granites

Sreenivasa Granites is located right here in Sri Krishna Nagar at Dr.No.5-69/32A. We are down on 15th Cross in Mr Pally, which is a busy little area most days. I spend a lot of my time just walking between the different stacks of stone we have piled up. It's not a huge place, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time turning the corner, but we always figure it out. We’ve got all kinds of slabs sitting out. Some have been there a week and others just arrived this morning. I like the way the granite feels when it's cold in the early hours before the sun gets too high. Neighbors often walk past and wave while we’re cutting or polishing something in the back. It’s noisy work sometimes, but nobody seems to complain much. We keep a ledger of what’s coming in and what’s going out, but most of it is just stored in my head anyway. If someone wants a certain color, I usually know exactly which pile it's buried under. It takes a lot of heavy lifting and our boots are always covered in that white stone dust. That’s just how it goes when you run a granite yard. We don't do much talking, mostly just showing people the stone and letting them choose for themselves. It’s a good, honest way to spend the day. And it keeps me out of trouble I suppose.
