Sri Vekateswara Granites

Our place is at Dr.No.3-35/9 in Vykuntapuram East. It’s a part of Mr Palli that stays fairly busy during the daytime. We have been working with granites here for quite a while. The yard is usually full of slabs. Granite is a tough material to work with, but that’s what we do. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the crane because these pieces are way too heavy for anyone to lift. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, especially when it’s windy outside. We keep a small office where we handle the paperwork, but mostly we are out back. Customers come in looking for something specific for their flooring or maybe a countertop. We show them what we’ve got sitting in the stacks. Sometimes they like the color, sometimes they don’t. It’s all about what comes out of the ground. We don't try to talk people into things they don't want. If a slab has a crack or a weird spot, we point it out. It’s better that way. The neighborhood is okay, though the roads get a bit crowded near our entrance. We just keep doing our thing every day. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s honest work. We have a few regulars who come back whenever they have a new project. It’s nice to see familiar faces now and then. It keeps the day going well.
