Royal Golden Granites

Down here on 4, South Bypass Road, things stay pretty loud because of the traffic. We’ve got our granite yard set up right where everyone passes by. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. Most days it’s just us moving these big slabs around. You get used to the weight of the stone after a while. We don't spend much time in the office because the real work happens outside where the granite is. It’s dusty work, and your clothes get ruined pretty fast. The sun hits the bypass road hard in the afternoon, so we drink a lot of tea and try to stay in the shade when we can. We have different kinds of stone sitting around, some grey, some darker. It depends on what the trucks bring in. We aren't some big company with a hundred people, just a few of us making sure the slabs don't crack when we move them. It takes a bit of muscle and a lot of patience. Sometimes the crane acts up, and we have to fix it ourselves. People drive by and see the stacks of stone. If you need to find us, just look for the big pieces of granite lined up near the road. We stay busy with the local builders and anyone else who needs a piece of stone for their house or shop. It is just basic labor and keeping things moving along.
