The Resort -Mumbai

It might seem a bit odd to some, but we handle things for The Resort - Mumbai from all the way down here in Trichy. Our office is on Therasammal Street in Sangiliandapuram. T. Ramamoorthy and the rest of us work out of 15/6. It’s a quiet enough street most mornings, though the traffic in Trichy can get pretty loud during the middle of the day. We’re quite a long distance from Mumbai, but the mail and the phones keep us connected to what’s going on. The office is just a regular room with some filing cabinets and a couple of old computers that we use. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything like that. We just do the work that comes in from the resort side of things. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure everything is documented right. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a small operation here in Tamil Nadu. Some days are just about sorting through letters or answering the same questions over and over on the telephone. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or expensive furniture. We just use what we have and get the job done. Sangiliandapuram is home for us, and this is where we’ve set up our shop. It’s a simple arrangement that works for everyone. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever is needed from this end.
