J J M Bricks

Our place is on Rani Annadurai Street in K K Nagar. J J M Bricks is tucked away at 5/13 and it’s where we spend all our time. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside the gate. We are just a small crew here. We spend the morning sorting through the bricks and getting everything ready for the day's deliveries. It’s not a clean job, you can see the red dust all over our boots and the walls. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s more of a family feel where we just do the work that needs doing. When someone needs bricks for a project, they just stop by the street and talk to us. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. The work speaks for itself I guess. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before it gets too warm. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the dust, but we try to keep it down as much as we can. It’s just a regular local business trying to get by. We like being in K K Nagar and being part of the local scene. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. Most days we are just glad to get through the load.
