Amma Bricks

We are Amma Bricks, and you can find us at Plot No. 9 in the Sarasa Apartment building. This is over by Pitchandavar Kovil, near Tolgate No. 1. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a brick business, being in an apartment complex area, but it works out for us. We use the space we have to keep things organized. The traffic near the Tolgate can get pretty backed up in the mornings and evenings, so we try to time our movements around that. It's a busy part of the area. We’ve got a small office where we handle the orders. It’s nothing special, just a desk and some chairs. Most of the time we are out on the sites or checking the loads. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The people living in Sarasa Apartment are used to us being here. We try not to make too much noise too early. It's a family-run thing, really. My uncle started it and we just kept it going. We don't have a big website or anything, just the sign out front. People find us by word of mouth mostly. Being near the Kovil is nice, it’s a good landmark. We just focus on getting the bricks where they need to go without any drama. It’s a steady life and we like the neighborhood. Sometimes we get people asking for just a handful of bricks for a small repair at home. We try to help them out too.
