If you go to Manalur in the Trichur district of Kerala, you can find our office. It is at the Kannamparambil house, and Sanju looks after things there. It is a quiet place, like much of this part of Kerala, with a lot of greenery around the building. We are part of Dutco Balfour Beatty Llc, but this particular office feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We do not have any big signs or glass walls. It is just a room where we keep our files and take our phone calls. The rain in Kerala can be very heavy, so there are days when the roads are a bit of a mess, but we still make it into work. We are just a small team here, and we do not feel the need to use big words to describe what we do. We just handle the business that comes our way and try to be helpful. Most of the people we deal with are local, so we know how to talk to them without sounding like we are from a different world. We drink a lot of coffee, talk about the weather, and make sure our work is finished by the end of the day. It is a simple life, and we do not have any grand plans to change things. We just want to keep doing what we are doing and stay part of the community.
