Our office is over at Milma Bhavan in Pattom. Most people around here just call us Milma. We deal with all the milk collection and stuff across the state. It's a big operation, but the day-to-day is mostly just coordination. The building isn't new, it has that old government feel to it. You’ll see plenty of people coming and going from the palace post office area. We spend a lot of time on the phones talking to the different dairies. It gets noisy. There’s always some truck schedule or a cooler that needs checking. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern. It's just about making sure the milk gets where it needs to go every morning. Some mornings are better than others. If the rain is heavy, everything slows down and we just wait. We have a small canteen where we drink way too much tea during breaks. The staff here has been around since before the computers took over. We still keep a lot of paper files in those big steel cabinets. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the hallways. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just show up and do the work. The address is Pattom Palace P.O. if you ever need to mail something.
