Gowri Exports

Our office is at Tc 22/934, Sree Chaitram, in the Attukal area of Manacaud. Gowri Exports is a small operation, and we’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s a local neighborhood, not a big industrial park, so things have a more personal feel here. We handle exports, which means there is a lot of paperwork involving customs and shipping containers that can be quite a headache sometimes. The office is often filled with the sound of the printer going off or someone trying to explain something over a bad phone line to a supplier. We don't have a big team or a fancy board room. Most of our meetings happen over a quick cup of coffee in the back room. The heat can be quite something in this part of town, so the fan is always running at full speed. We spend a lot of time double-checking lists and making sure everything is packed correctly before it leaves. It’s not glamorous work, and we don’t have any polished mission statements to show off. We just try to make sure the goods get where they are supposed to go without any major delays. Some days are slow, and some days we are staying late to finish up documents. It’s just the way the export business goes. We like being in Manacaud; it feels like home. We’ve gotten to know the people around here and it’s a nice place to work every day. It's just a regular local business.
