Bengal Oil Traders

Bengal Oil Traders is tucked away in 7-B, Skyline Melody on Bhakthivilasom Road. Vazhuthacaud is a nice enough area, and being in the Skyline Melody building gives us a bit of a view of the trees. We deal in different types of oils, which means our day is mostly spent tracking prices and making sure the tanks are being filled and moved correctly. It’s not the kind of job that looks glamorous on paper. The office is small, mostly filled with desks and a few chairs for when clients stop by to chat. We have a kettle in the corner that is almost always on because we drink a lot of tea here. Bhakthivilasom Road can be a bit tight for parking, which is a bit of a pain for anyone visiting, but we make do. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who have been doing this for a long time. We know the oil business inside and out, from the way it’s sourced to how it’s delivered. Sometimes the market goes up and down and we have to scramble, but that’s just how it is. We don’t try to be anything we aren't; we just provide the oil people need and keep our records as straight as we can. It’s a simple life and it keeps us occupied throughout the week without much trouble.
