Ispat Industries

Ispat Industries is based out of Sankara Bhavan here in Trivandrum. Kerala is a beautiful place to work, though it gets very humid in the summer and the rains can be quite heavy during the monsoon. Our building is a bit older and has that traditional feel to it. It’s not a high-rise office block. We are located in the 695013 area, which is a decent part of the city to be in. Every morning we open up the doors and get the fans going to stay cool. The pace of life here is a bit different than the big cities up north, but we still keep busy. There’s always someone coming in with a query or a delivery to sort out. We don't use a lot of high-tech stuff, just the usual office equipment that gets the job done. The walls are a bit plain, and we have stacks of ledgers and folders everywhere. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is. We take our breaks together and usually talk about local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It feels like a small family more than a big company. We’ve been at Sankara Bhavan for some time and the local people know us by now. It’s a simple setup for a business that just wants to do its work without any fuss.
