You can find us near the Hhtm Ups Palachira School in Varkala. I D L Tools & Hardware is where we spend our days surrounded by hammers, saws, and boxes of nails. Being near the school means there’s always a bit of noise when the kids are coming or going in the afternoons. We sell to builders, plumbers, and people trying to fix things in their own houses. It’s a practical kind of place. We have shelves full of wrenches, drill bits, and different types of hinges. The floor is bare concrete and we don’t mind if people come in with muddy shoes from a job site. Varkala is a nice place to work, especially with the sea breeze that comes through. We have been running this hardware store for quite a while now. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our inventory well enough to help you find a specific bolt or screw. We don't have a website or any fancy digital stuff. People just drop by when they realize they’re missing a tool for their project. We have a small wooden desk where we keep the ledger and the old phone. It’s a simple operation without any bells or whistles. We like the local feel of the Palachira area. Sometimes people stay for a chat about the weather or local news after they buy what they need. It’s just a normal hardware shop doing its thing every day.
