Family Enyerprises

Family Enyerprises is located in Mannanthala, over in the Powdikonam area. We are a small, family-run business and we’ve lived in this community for a long time. Our setup isn't anything big or complicated. We started out just wanting to provide things that people in this neighborhood needed without them having to travel all the way into the main city. Over time, we have grown a little, but we still keep that small-town feel. Most of our customers are people we see at the market or around the local area every day. We handle a variety of items, and our stock changes depending on what is in demand at the time. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and our neighbors. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just family members helping out with everything from cleaning to bookkeeping. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big delivery arrives, but we always sort it out eventually. We aren't big on using fancy technology or complicated systems. A simple notebook and a calculator usually do the trick for us. It’s quiet out here compared to the city center, and we like it that way. People stop by not just to buy things, but often just to say hello or share some local news. We don't bother with advertising. If someone needs something, they usually just walk over or ask a friend where to go.
