Penquin Nursary And Primary School

We started this school here in Vorathanadu some years back because we saw a need for a basic place for kids to learn. It is right in the Tiruvonam area of Thanjavur. People know us as Penquin Nursary And Primary School. Most of us working here are locals who live nearby and we just want to help the younger children get their start. The building isn't fancy or anything, but it gets the job done. We have classrooms for the little ones and then the primary grades too. Everyday starts quite early with the kids coming in from the surrounding streets. We don't really do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are located. Sometimes the power goes out or things get a bit dusty, but that's just how it is in this part of Thanjavur. We focus on the basics like reading and math. The teachers here are patient, though they can be strict when the children get too noisy. It feels more like a big family than a formal office. We have been at this 614614 address for quite a while now. Parents stop by to chat when they drop off their children. We try to keep things simple and affordable for the families in our village. There’s always some noise from the playground during break time. It’s just a regular school doing its best for the neighborhood kids. We hope to keep going for many more years as long as the community needs us.
