Our office is over in Flat 404 at Chaitanya Avenue, right inside Lodha Heaven. If you know Nilje or the Dombivali East area, you know how busy it gets around here with all the new buildings going up. It’s basically a residential setup that we use for the business stuff. It’s not a huge space, just a few of us sitting around with laptops and some files scattered on the tables. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up or gets stuck, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout by the time you hit the fourth floor. Living and working in Mumbai means things are always moving fast, but in this part of town, it feels a bit more like a regular neighborhood. We can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons and the sounds of people cooking next door. We mostly handle the paperwork and the phone calls from here. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of supplies coming in, but we manage to keep things organized enough to get the day's work done. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up when we need a break from the computer screens. It isn't anything fancy, just a plain apartment where we do our business. The security guards know us pretty well by now and the neighbors don't mind the extra foot traffic. It’s a decent place to be based out of.
