Tip Top Mithaiwala Thane W (D Mart)

Our shop, Tip Top Mithaiwala, is right inside the D Mart Shopping Center at Vedant Compound. If you know the Koras Road area near Garden Estate, you probably pass us often. We are in Citalsar, Thane West. Every morning starts early for us because we have to get the sweets ready. The smells of sugar and ghee are everywhere by 7 AM. It gets really crowded here, especially on weekends when everyone is doing their grocery shopping at D Mart. Sometimes we run out of the popular items faster than we expected. We have to keep an eye on the glass cases to make sure everything looks alright. The staff stays busy packing boxes and weighing out snacks for people who are in a hurry. It’s a noisy spot with people coming and going all day. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many kids and shoppers, it’s a constant job. We’ve been in this compound for some time and know many of the faces who walk by. It’s not a huge shop, but we fit a lot of variety on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to scramble to get everything sorted. That is just life in Thane. We stay open late most nights because the area is always active. It’s just us doing our daily work. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the shelves stocked and the counters wiped down for the next rush of customers.
