Vijay Engineering Works

You can find our workshop on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon, at 14-A. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the machines. We do a lot of metal work and repairs here. There’s usually some grease on the floor and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We’ve got some old lathes and a few newer machines too. It’s not a clean, air-conditioned office; it’s a real shop where things get made and fixed. I spend most of my day in overalls, checking parts or talking to the guys about a specific job. People bring in broken parts or blueprints for something they need fabricated. We take it one job at a time. Some days are slow, and we just clean the tools, and other days it’s a rush to finish a project by the weekend. The traffic on Ram Mandir Road is getting worse every year, making it hard for the trucks to get in and out with the heavy stuff. We've been in this spot for a long time, and we know all the other workshop owners nearby. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing team. We just focus on the metal and the measurements. If the fit isn't right, we do it again until it is. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s hard on the hands, but it’s good, honest work that we take pride in. We make sure the welding is solid and the edges are smooth before anything leaves the floor.
