Shk Machine Tools

The workshop is located over at Runwal Estate, right across from Lawkim Limited on Ghodbandar Road. If you know Thane West, you know how busy that stretch of road gets these days. We are in the B3 block, unit 803. It's a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Shk Machine Tools isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a focused space where we handle the machines and parts. The floor usually has that smell of oil and cut metal, which I guess you get used to after a few years. We spend most of our time looking at specs and making sure the tools are actually doing what they are supposed to do. It’s not glamorous work. My hands are usually a bit stained by the end of the shift. We see a lot of people coming in from the nearby industrial areas looking for specific bits or asking if we can fix something that broke down. We just sit down, look at the problem, and see what can be done. There’s no big marketing team here, just us and the machines. Sometimes the rain in Thane makes things slow down, especially when the road floods, but we stay open as much as we can. It’s a practical life, working with your hands and making sure the measurements are right so the next person can do their job properly.
