Vijay Engineering Works

Vijay Engineering Works is right near Kamani Chowk. If you’re filling up your tank at the Reliance Petrol Pumps, you can just look across the road and see our place. It’s a very recognizable spot in this part of town. Being near the chowk means we see almost everyone passing through at some point. Our shop is a busy place, usually filled with the sound of grinding and hammering. We do a lot of mechanical and engineering jobs here. It’s the kind of work that gets your hands dirty and your clothes dusty. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name painted on the front. The space inside is mostly taken up by lathes and other machines we use daily. We’ve tried to keep it organized, but when you’re busy with a lot of orders, tools tend to end up all over the place. We start our day when the traffic at the petrol pump starts picking up in the morning. It’s a good location because people can drop off their stuff and then go about their errands in the city. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop near the intersection. Most people around here know us just by the noise we make or by seeing us working in the open doorway. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the repairs or the fabrication done right. The heat from the engines and our own tools makes it warm, but we're used to it.
