Vaishnu Hotel

Our place, Vaishnu Hotel, is located right on Station Road in Thane West. We are at Shop Number 2, which is directly opposite the post office. If you see Khandelwal Sweets, you’ve basically found us already. Being near the station means there is always someone coming or going. We get a lot of commuters who are in a hurry, so we’ve learned to work fast. It’s a small space, nothing too fancy, just enough room for people to sit down and have a quick bite before they catch their train. We’ve been here for a while now and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it's home to us. The kitchen is small but we manage to keep everything moving. We serve the kind of food that fills you up. It’s practical and we don’t use any strange ingredients. Just the basics. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when the trains are delayed and everyone is looking for a place to wait. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. People know they can come here and get a decent meal without spending too much. It’s a busy life here in Thane, and we’re just a small part of it. We keep the doors open from early morning until late at night. That is just how we run things here every day of the week.
