Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi

We are tucked away in Shivaji Nagar, specifically at 4/10 on Khandsa Road. Even though the name is Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, we spend our time here in Gurgaon, 400101. It is a busy stretch of road, always full of bikes and people heading to work. Our spot is not hard to find if you know the landmarks, but for a first-timer, Khandsa Road can be a bit of a maze. The building itself is just like any other in Shivaji Nagar, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we just have our usual setup. The mornings are usually the loudest with the traffic noise starting around eight. I often grab a tea from the stall down the street before settling in for the day. It is interesting how names work, being called New Delhi but sitting right here in Haryana. We don’t really mind, it’s just how it ended up. The office has seen better days, maybe a fresh coat of paint would help, but it works for what we need. We are right in the middle of everything here. You can hear the sounds of the market and the constant honking, which just becomes background noise after a few weeks. It’s a practical place for us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just people working on Khandsa Road, trying to get through the daily list of things to do, and making sure the door is locked before we head home.
