V. R. Engineers

Our workshop is at A/92 in the Osia Mata Compound. We are situated on Retibunder Road, which connects the old Thane and Bhiwandi roads. Kalher is a busy place with a lot of trucks and industrial activity going on all the time. V. R. Engineers is right in the middle of all that. The air is often dusty and there's always the sound of engines or tools in the background. We’ve got a decent amount of space in the compound, though it fills up quickly with materials and equipment. It’s a practical location for the kind of engineering work we do. Most of the guys here have been working with us for a long time, so they know the routine. We don't spend much time in the office; we’re usually out on the floor or checking things in the yard. The road outside can get very congested with all the transport heading towards Bhiwandi. It's not a fancy place with air conditioning and glass walls, just a solid work site. We deal with a lot of different projects, some big and some small. You get used to the grease and the noise after a while. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We just try to get the jobs done correctly and stay on schedule as much as we can. It’s a lot of physical work, but that is what we are here for. We don’t mind the sweat as long as the machines are running right.
