The Great Maratha

Ambernath is a busy place, and our spot is right on Station Road. Being near the station means there is a constant flow of people walking past our doors from early morning until late at night. We are situated at Hutatma Chowk, right across from the IDBI Bank. It is a very local atmosphere here. You have the sounds of the trains and the hawkers outside all the time. Our building isn't new, and it has seen a lot of years go by in this town. We serve food to the commuters and the people who live in the nearby apartments. The menu is mostly stuff that people around here grew up eating. We don't have air conditioning in every part of the place, so it can get a bit warm in the summer months. The tables are wooden and simple, and we don't use fancy tablecloths or anything. Our staff knows a lot of the customers by their first names because they come in every week. It is a bit loud and crowded during the evening rush when everyone is getting off work and heading home. We just try to keep the service moving so nobody has to wait too long. It is an honest, local business that has been part of the Ambernath landscape for quite some time now. We just provide a meal and a place to sit for a bit.
