Sainath Engineering

You can find us over at Mhatre Compound in Thane West, located right near the SBI branch on Ghodbunder Road. We’re pretty much directly opposite Suraj Water Park, so that’s usually the easiest landmark to give anyone trying to visit us. At Sainath Engineering, the work we do is mostly centered on mechanical parts and various types of repairs. The workshop is usually a bit greasy and quite loud because of the different machines running all day, but that’s exactly how an engineering shop should be. We’ve got a mix of older, reliable tools and some newer equipment that we’ve picked up as the business grew. It’s not a sterile or perfectly clean environment; there are usually metal shavings on the floor and the smell of industrial oil is always in the air. We spend our days fixing broken machinery or fabricating custom parts for our local clients. The traffic on GB Road is a total nightmare during peak hours, so getting our supplies delivered can sometimes take a lot longer than we would like. We don’t have a fancy front office or a dedicated salesperson in a suit. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us in work clothes with grease on our hands. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the final parts fit as they should. It’s a very practical, hands-on kind of life for us. We take our tea breaks outside when the weather is decent enough.
